Combining her wistful reflections with the whimsical spirit of the prairies, Hollande Bezan creates expressive works on paper and canvas. Nestled in her home studio she uses her peculiar visual language to ignite imagination, transforming memories and translating dreams.

Hollande Bezan was born in 1992 and lived on a farm outside of Langenburg, Saskatchewan. She spent countless hours singing to the cows and toting kittens around the farmyard. In 1999 she moved with her mother and sister to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she continues to live and practice her art.

In 2015 she graduated from the University of Manitoba's School of Art Honours program where she focused on painting, soft sculpture, and installation.

She has exhibited work at the University of Manitoba's Gallery of Student Art, The Edge Urban Art Gallery, MAWA (Mentoring Artists for Women's Art), and La Maison des artistes visuels francophones.
